At Uttkarsha Counselling Center we conduct effective parenting workshops for parents. It’s the ability of parents to interact and create an environment for the children that helps them to grow into good adults.
From a psychological perspective, nature and nurture are major factors in the development of the child. Nature is all about the DNA which is carried forward in generation together whereas nurture is part of the environment we give to the child for the development.
The DNA part we cannot do much on but the nurture part has a big defining role to be play by the parents.
The second perspective in the development of the child is behavior modelling, if you minutely observed someone’s walking style you may remember that the child is either modeling the style of walking of his father or mother.
When a style of walking is copied by the kid then just think about what amount of behavior must be getting copied unconsciously and therefore the importance of role model comes in, which is about effective parenting.
Though this is a relatively new area of work it has become the need of hours especially with working couples and nuclear families. The lack of quality time spent with the child by the parents leads to many challenges between the relationship and development of the child.
At our center in this workshop, we focus on developing the effectiveness of the parents, building the bond between the child and the parents to foster
