Anxiety Management

A certain level of anxiety is required for any person to remain alert and aware of any situation but when overwhelming anxiety and fear lead to anxiety disorders. Anxiety is broadly classified into the following categories

Panic disorder- Its sudden intense fear leading to a Panic attack which has biological symptoms like choking, sweating, heart pounding, and pain in the chest. 

Generalized anxiety disorder – one tends to remain worry all over and all things happening around with no reason

Phobias- this is the unreasonable  fear of any object or situation which goes beyond that object and situation affecting the general life of the individual

Social anxiety – individual is excessive worry about people judging or ridiculing 

Separation Anxiety –  when an individual Fear’s  loss of near and dear ones 

Anxiety can be treated by conducting counselling therapies in which the individual is made to realize that they are under anxiety disorder and then the remedy is placed which includes Behavioral and cognitive therapies
